The serene sunrise with the sounds of nature and gorgeous sunsets were worth the trip.The hosts have truly thought of everything. From the thoughtful touches throughout the home to the recommendations for places to eat, hike, and explore in the Blue Ridge and surrounding area. Pinecone Peaks was one of those places where you can slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the beauty around you. If you want to relax in a mountain retreat, this one is spectacular.

Thanks...it makes you feel secure in case something should happen where you need help! All was smooth and the place is absolutely spectacular with a panoramic view from the decks and amenities are above and beyond. It's secluded enough to feel like a magical place far, far, away, yet close enough to a grocery store and a great little resort town of Blue Ridge. Watch for the abundant deer, but if you are wanting a great getaway that will please all your family...book this wonderful mountain home!

We had the most wonderful stay at this cabin for my husband’s 40th birthday weekend getaway! We have stayed in many cabins over the years across Alaska, Oregon, and Tennessee, and this one is by far our favorite. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, and the views are just as perfect in person as they are in the photos, everything was exactly as pictured. It was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared for guests. Matt and Melissa were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. They truly thought of everything, from toiletries to even having a high chair available for families who may need it. We cannot recommend this cabin enough and are already looking forward to coming back!

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute trip to Blue Ridge and selected this property. It was our first time visiting the area and were looking for a wonderful place to relax. The home (immaculate and has everything you need) and views were absolutely AMAZING! We enjoyed the fireplaces, pool table, darts, gas stove, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and comfortable beds. The property is beautiful and our host Matt was so great to work with! He was responsive, provided a lot of helpful recommendations and was just overall super nice. We are definitely hoping to make it out there again in the future. Highly recommend this property for your next trip to the Blue Ridge mountains.

"Our host ghosted us after we complained about not having access to basic TV."

Our host ghosted us after we complained about not having access to basic TV. After conferring with Matt, we signed up for you tube tv, which did not work. He said he would assist us tomorrow, but never followed through. He needs to rewrite house manual to include special instructions where needed (example: gas line timer on grill.) This property needs to clean out the refrigerator water system (bacteria), install water treatment systems to remove sulfur smell and mineral deposits. After we became sick, we drank only bottled water. Placing bromine tablets in hot tub dispenser would help. For a property of this quality and price range, a working television is a necessity. Please reinstall satellite service.

We had a wonderful stay here. It is a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed the outdoor seating area to watch the sunset. The house was very nice and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. The host sent very detailed information that was very helpful. He always responded quickly.

The house was impeccably clean and offered total privacy, making it a wonderful retreat. The views from the balcony are simply spectacular—we spent the evening out there, enjoying the perfect fall sunset and roasting marshmallows by the fire pit as a family. The playroom was a massive hit and kept everyone entertained for hours; the pool table, darts, and shuffleboard were all in great condition. Matt has created the ideal mountain escape. Highly, highly recommend!

The kitchen was the best stocked vacation rental I’ve ever had! All the things you need for a relaxing week in the mountains. My son loved the dart games and having tvs in every room (kids these days). We loved it and hope to return soon.

Absolutely amazing experience. Very clean and well taken care of.. To start, what an absolutely amazing experience it was staying in this cabin. It not only had everything we needed to stay 3 days but the location, scenery, and all amenities provided to us just made our stay even more of an incredible experience. 10/10 will forever make this the vacation spot for me and my family every year.

My daughter and I take a trip to write every year. This year we decided to go to Blue Ridge - an adorable town, with great restaurants, etc. We brought our spouses, which was really nice. The property has 2 master bedrooms, which is wonderful! The view was fabulous! The fireplaces indoors were gas heat - very easy! There was a lovely fireplace outside that we huddled in front of (it was cold during our stay). We played darts, pool, and shuffleboard! We visited, and of course, wrote - we both got a lot done on our books! The home is a gorgeous open floor concept upstairs and the deck (!!) had wonderful rocking chairs/gliders! Everything about this property was lovely. We ate at Whiskey & Water in town - an adorable seafood place and whiskey bar! The view can't be talked about enough - really beautiful. We saw tons of deer in the area as well! Great weekend!

House was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities from a full kitchen with appliances and cookware to plenty of towels, blankets and a full game room of fun, new and well working extras. Darts and the shuffle board table were a big hit with us. We loved the views from this house. Great property, remote but close enough to the beautiful downtown. Really the whole commute to the house from town is once in the neighborhood. We would recommend and visit again.

Matt and Melissa are great hosts! The views are way better than the pictures. The cabin had amazing views from all the windows. My teenagers loved the basement set up with the games and his own TV. The kitchen was well equipped. We had two families staying and each of us had our own Master suite. I loved the quietness and fall colors the mountain had to offer. We even got to see deer on the mountain. Matt had amazing directions to get up the mountain! I loved that Matt and Melissa sent out things to do around town, where to go shopping ahead of time. We are already planning our next trip to this beautiful cabin.

Amazing. You will not be disappointed when visiting Pine Cone Peaks. Not only is view absolutely breath taking but the cabin was extremely clean and fully stocked. We have been to Blue Ridge every year for the past 9 years and this was the best view we’ve ever had. We enjoyed to game room, fire place, game room and of course morning coffee on the deck. Blue Ridge has the best small town charm. Just make sure to get back in time to see the sunset. You won’t want to miss it! Matt and Melissa were great hosts and they very easy to reach and very communicative. We will be back in the future!!

Beautiful home with beautiful views. Has everything you need to enjoy your time there. Rooms were spaced out and clean. Matt gave clear instructions on how to find the place. Follow his instructions, NOT Google maps and you will be just fine! Some steep gravel road but nothing that our Tesla Model 3 couldn't handle. Highly recommend and would be back!

We absolutely loved this place! It was just as described but the pictures do not do it justice. The cabin was beautiful and had everything you could imagine and the view was spectacular. It is so peaceful, quiet and relaxing there and we wished we could’ve stayed longer…..One of the amenities we really enjoyed was the game room…it was one of our favorite things about the cabin…..this place is definitely worth a visit. Matt was a super host and very responsive to any questions we may have had and gave us a lot of great info for local restaurants, shops etc…..we hope to visit soon in the near future….

Matt and Melissa are wonderful hosts! They provided detailed and clear instructions on how to get to the cabin and how to get inside. We walked in and the stress immediately melted off of us. Their home is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It’s clear the attention and care they’ve put into creating a cozy environment with anything you could need during your stay; including amazing recommendations for local places. And the view!!! I promise that pictures cannot do it justice for how amazing it is; it’s one you just MUST see for yourself! We’ll definitely be staying here again soon for another getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Thank you!!

Enjoyed this place. Was a bit tricky getting up there in the car I had with the gravel road but once we were up there it was incredible. Great views, great property that was clean and had a great layout. Host was very proactive and clear about everything involved. Would recommend and come again

Matt and Melisa were extremely helpful and gave lots of recommendations. We found the cabin easy to find, Matt also gave detailed instructions prior to check in! The cabin has incredible views, and there was plenty to do in the area! We can’t wait to come back!

The house was beautiful, the view was outstanding, and I couldn't have been more pleased with Matt. Both the house and the host exceeded my expectations in every way. The house looks great in the photos, but is even better in person. I ended up communicating with Matt several times while we were there, and he is _by far_ the best host of any vacation rental my wife and/or I have ever interacted with: he was incredibly prompt, helpful, and seems like a genuinely really good person. I would rent from him without a single bit of hesitation. If I could give the experience 6 stars instead of 5, I would: the experience was so amazing it broke the rating scale in my mind.

Our favorite stay in Blue Ridge yet! The cabin was in great location with amazing views. Everything was extremely clean. The home had any and everything we may have needed. Our son had the best time in the basement with the air hockey table and board games. We spent the most time on the gorgeous porch! The host Matt was very responsive and super helpful. This was such an excellent decision and the hosts were as good as you can get from the beginning of the booking months in advance. There place has every family in mind and well thought out. You can tell this is a little gem that they enjoy sharing with others. These memories are something I will never forget and the views and accommodations were everything we asked for. This was a great place to stay, recharge and reconnect as a family. Great communication from owners and plenty of room for our family of 7 (parents and kids ranging from 16-25). Getting up to the place was a bit daunting with our packed minivan and for those scared of heights, but well worth it! We took in all this place had to offer, turning off our phones/tvs and hiking, cooking, playing games, soaking in the hot tub under a sky full of beautiful stars, watching sunsets on the deck, etc. We even got some waders on and in the river for some fly fishing. (Highly recommend Fly Fishing North Georgia with Hunter as a guide. He is open to whatever your need is … with kids, teaching first timers (as we were) or with experienced fishermen.) It was a different kind of vacation for our busy and spread out family that bought us all back together and we would remember for a lifetime. Now that’s what I call a vacation worth taking!
